They don't make em like this anymore! Antique eye washing station by Haws Co.- Berkeley, California. She's porcelain with chrome hardware.

Purchased for $22 and sold for $185.

" Minox-B is fitted with a very high quality lens. When used in combination with high-grade film, it allowed black & white images with enormous detail to be obtained from the small negatives. The non-perforated film strip is 9.2 mm wide and is stored on a supply spool inside a small cartridge that can hold 50 images. In later years, colour film became available for the Minox-B, but it had significantly lower detail than the B/W film." -

Produced in Germany during the 1960s. I just happened to find one tossed to the curb. Working condition nonetheless.

Vintage Hedco Milk Glass Hurricane Lamp Gone With the Wind Victorian Parlor Lamp. Cosmetically this is in great condition. It has wear consistent with age and normal use (scratches, scuffs, etc) but none of which impact the functionality of the lamp. There are no cracks and chips. The lamp is apx 21"h. Please see photos.

1920s five lite art deco chandelier that I just recently restored. Before and After. Found this in the trash while picking. The going rate for these friends on the internet is typically $125-$175.

Vintage Native American Porcelain Doll. It's unstamped therefore I'm under the assumption it's handmade. The detail is pretty nifty. Mid Century modern would be pushing it. If I were to guess, this was made in the last 20 years. It might be the heaviest doll I've ever picked up. I'm also not much of a doll person but I really like this

The term "antique" is used very loosely and there is room for interpretation. One could argue that it is a matter of perception rather than age. However, when appraising valuables, it is extremely detrimental to understand that a perception could be misconceived for reality. If antiques aren't researched and appraised properly- the validity of the item and potentially the integrity of the owner could be compromised. Bottom line, when dealing with antiques it is not only important to cross your t's and dot your i's- but you must not forget to dot your lower-case j's.
