Hey everybody,
My name is Patrick, with Deck Monster Games and we are the creators of the Clowns Vs Piñatas card game. I wanted to give you all a quick history of just how this all got started. Back through the 90’s and early 2000’s, I was a co-owner of a local game store located just outside of Richmond, VA, and Eric (the other half of Deck Monster Games) was a regular customer there. We loved our shop back then and we did a pretty good job creating a welcoming environment for some amazing gamers. I recall that almost every night, at closing time, our customers didn’t want to leave the store. It was hilarious how they all came up with these crazy excuses just to stay a little bit longer. This was an ongoing phenomenon and over time became the inspiration for a really funny card game. That game focused on the shop keepers kicking out customers and customers making excuses to stay. The last customer remaining in the store won the game. But eventually things changed and we closed the game store and moved on. That game sat in a box packed away for some time, but in 2015 Eric and I found the old game and it inspired us to create a new game. So here we are. The Clowns Vs Piñatas card game is a last person standing game where you are pitted against your friends trying to expose all the others as the Clowns or Piñatas they truly are. Players use a barrage of stereotypes to place Honks on Clowns and Whacks on Piñatas. If you take too many Honks or Whacks then you are out of the game. Last person unexposed wins the game. We hope that you give our hilarious game a chance. We truly believe you will have a great time playing Clowns Vs Piñatas.

Clowns vs Piñatas is a fast-paced, hilarious, gritty, and competitive card game. Like it or not, every one of us has a little Clown and Piñata in us! We need to avoid the honks and wacks in life. If you take to many you will slide too far over to one side and lose yourself. Once lost you become a fully indoctrinated Clown or Piñata. Is that what you really want?
