Hey all! I have to miss “Make It Monday” this Monday, Nov. 2 (it’s still on, though, with Stacey Aucoin at Taco Joint, 5-9 p.m.!) but we can craft together Garland.Library.TX Crafternoon next Saturday, Nov. 7! It’s a bring-your-own project, two-hour block of time to “get stuff done”, plus I’ll be providing supplies and instruction for making holiday cards and gift tags. If you liked our tag making at past Jingle Bash Dallas events, this is not to be missed. Plus it’s a great way to get to know the new Garland Central Library maker space! Cross-stitch witch rug pattern, part of a precious vintage 1929 book entitled, “Handmade Rugs: Crocheted, knitted, braided, hooked and embroidered” compiled by Helen Marvin for the Woman’s Home Companion. No cover and some crumbling pages (I’m protecting it in a plastic report cover ❤️), $2.99 (headed to the shop this afternoon!).
