Six inexpensive beauty products I’m taking into 2026 with me. No gatekeeping, no $400 mistakes, just things I actually use.

Hypochlorous Acid Spray
My in-between workouts, post-sweat, throughout-the-day skin reset. Antimicrobial, gentle, and the Amazon version works just as well as the expensive ones.

LipSofties Mini Set
Four mini tinted lip treatments so you can try every shade. Easy to keep one in every purse and super low effort.

Amber Vanilla Dry Shampoo
Smells incredible and refreshes fast. Perfect for runaround days when washing your hair is not happening but you still want it to look put together.

Toning Pads
Morning and night after cleansing. Simple, effective, and one of those products you really notice when you stop using it.
perfumery Perfumes
I test scents here before committing to luxury perfume and sometimes I never even buy the real version. Spray liberally, get compliments, save money.

Hair Reset Combo
rosemary mint scalp oil paired with the hair mask. My once-a-month reset for growth, softness, and overall hair health. Weekly if I’m being ambitious.

pulled the hawk card at the beach before this shoot 🐝

hawks see things clearly. they move with confidence. they don’t second-guess, they trust their perspective and act with intention.

this look came together the same way. tailored and grounded and warm and all seeing.

this is my everyday makeup without makeup routine, travel day edition. soft layers, multi-use products, and zero overthinking.

starting simple:
✨ skin tint for easy coverage on days like this

layered lips (my non-negotiable):
💧 hydration first
nars ✍️ all day stay crayon as a base
tower 28 🖊️ liner, cheeks, eyes
tower 28 💄 two lip jellies — darker in the center, lighter on the outside

finish it off with a little powder blush brushed brows and i’m ready.

dressed by the deck 🌿

lately i’ve been really inspired by tarot, intuition, and following that first quiet instinct and fashion is so much about instant imagery and feeling before logic

i’m also rediscovering my old early-2010s nikon dslr, leaning into more intentional shooting

obvi i left my iPhone adapter back in rals w/ my drone (in CB)… so this first post is still gonna have nikon energy but you gotta work with what you’ve got lol

today i pulled the gazelle
🤍 grace, awareness, and moving softly but with purpose enter from my suitcase: woodsy textures, earthy browns, greens and blues, plaid top, and corduroy that feels grounded but lifted

maybe getting dressed doesn’t have to be logical. maybe it can be intuitive.

i’ve noticed a shift in raleigh.
a real, undeniable craving for fashion ✨

personal style. women showing up boldly, creatively, and exactly as they are.

at the debut and the opening in the energy was clear. women came out styled, confident, expressive. emerging creators, familiar faces, and new connections 🥰 all bringing their own point of view.

those moments reminded me why i started fashion events in raleigh in the first place. and why it’s time to rise again, but do it differently. more intentional. more connected. more reflective of the city we’re in.
