Y’all! Skylar has OFFICIALLY won me over with her cake pops! I’ll admit, I’ve NEVER tried a cake pop I liked - despite loving cake and frosting - until I tried hers!

I won a drawing she did last week and NOT eating all of the mini cake pops I won has been so hard! 🤣 I’m saving (most) of them for a special goodie bag I’m making for the Bobbin Buddies tonight. They’re gonna love them even more than I do!

What do I do in my “spare time”?

Focus on increasing my sewing knowledge, support other small, local businesses, and what I call “SELF-CARE”…hang out with like-minded adults enjoying the things we love!

If y’all haven’t checked out Latanya over at Parliament Quilts and Crafts, you should! I could spend all day just looking through and feeling her beautiful, unique fabrics!

PLEASE do me a favor, if you see any ads for The Sewing Fix, please let me know. I started my first ad at $10 per day, but I haven’t seen any evidence of it at all - not the ad itself or more engagement, etc.,

I’d also love if you shared it or engaged with it, or any of my other posts on my business page.

I’m currently seeing the effects of what I believe to be the FB throttle, where suddenly I’m getting ZERO engagement, including views. I’ve been steadily climbing for the past few months, then suddenly CRICKETS.

Keep your small creator/business friends in mind when you need a doom scroll break and go directly to our pages and help get us some interactions 🫶🏻

Pic tax: Some of our Bobbin Buddies last week! We’re missing a few regulars, but this crew kicked b***y last week and popped out TWO finished projects!

Got an itch to stitch?! I know the cooler weather we've had definitely makes me want to stitch up something snuggly!

Are you a "Bow Girlie"? Yep, me too. I love a good bow!

Our featured class for November will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 between 1am - 4pm. Ms. Alicia will be teaching us how to make Quilted Bows. I'll attach the link in the comments, but here is a flyer and some sample bows, as well as the detailed information if you're interested in booking.
