My parents started bring us to Punta Gorda on our boat when we were young... and then p**f - we moved here, so I have always considered this place home since that time! While life has had me on the move for college and careers, Punta Gorda is always where my heart was grounded. Being on the water is where I find peace and recharge. When we moved home, I wanted to be part of the community and develop a community for people to come together... that's how Punta Gorda Mahjong was born. We love sharing our town, harbor, and all the things with visitors. Here are some pictures from our most recent day on the water with friends visiting from AL.

One of the biggest jumps you can make in your Mahjong game?
Stop trying to find THE HAND the minute you rack your tiles.
Instead, look for a section on the card.
Do your tiles seem to be pointing toward Consecutive Run? Like Numbers? 2468? Winds & Dragons?
Start there.

During the Charleston, keep watching what comes in and allow your possibilities to narrow naturally.

Your first idea doesn't have to be your final answer.

Better Mahjong isn't always about choosing faster. Sometimes it's about staying flexible longer.

SHOPPING IS BY APPOINTMENT FOR THE REMAINDER OF AUGUST....... take a look at the website and text to set up an appointment to shop the collection in person. You can mix and match all the pieces - tiles, racks, mats..... combinations are endless. We have a table you can set everything out on to see how it all looks together. Casual, fun and personal.
