Dapco has always been a family effort, named after our three sons and powered by all of us when it counts most. Tonight reminded me of that in the best way.

As we support a nuclear refueling outage, multiple urgent orders came in at once, and suddenly every Watson was hard at work to keep things moving. Andrew is at Grainger right now loading three separate orders in the truck that he will deliver to the plant tonight. He volunteered without hesitation even though he has school in the morning.

In times like these, when every minute matters more than every penny, we’re grateful to be positioned near a major distribution center with $40 million in inventory ready to go. That proximity makes all the difference during outage season, and so does having a family willing to jump in and make it happen!

We celebrate this anniversary every year because it never gets old. Twelve years ago, Dapco secured its first order with Duke Energy. Thousands of orders later, with countless lessons and triumphs along the way, we couldn’t ask for a better company to do business with. Duke Energy has always valued not just the project but also the people behind it.

We named this company after our three sons, so it’s an honor to partner with an organization that shares our commitment to serving people, local communities, and small businesses.

As we reflect on 2024, we’re grateful for a year of record growth and sales, alongside the challenges and lessons that have shaped us. This year, we’ve learned, adapted, and improved, always ready to tackle the next challenge.

On the home front, it’s been exciting to watch Daniel dive into law school while our younger two develop their interests in energy, procurement, and logistics with enthusiasm and curiosity.

This Thanksgiving, we are especially thankful for our incredible customers. Your trust, support, and encouragement in our small business have been one of our greatest blessings. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your projects and for believing in what we do.

On this Mother's Day, I'm deeply grateful for my three wonderful sons who have been pivotal to our family business from the very beginning. Yesterday, Phillip and I wrapped up a Saturday delivery, and as we were leaving, I snapped this photo, overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment. It might seem like an unusual bonding time, but these are the experiences that define our lives. I’m so proud that we share these moments together.
