Sometimes it’s hard to feel crafty or creative or inspired with everything going on, it can make it harder to focus because we feel like we’re in survival mode 24/7. Lately I have been doing my best to take one day at a time, focus on the little joys like a sunny day, birds singing, a cold slice of pizza for lunch, whatever makes you smile. Reframing things in a new perspective has helped too. When I can find it, I get the hand sanitizer with glitter or a fun scent (that still meets CDC guidelines for alcohol content), so it feels more like an act of self care than safety. I wear or make masks for myself and my family that feel more like fashion accessories than a necessity. I do my best to check in with others, be kinder to others and give thanks more often. I hope you and your loved ones are able to do the same. Stay safe, but make sure you are taking care of yourself inside and out. Focus on the good things, and take each day one step at a time. 💖
