25 more stuffed purses heading out this week to Family Violence Prevention shelter. Thank you to all our donors!!!

Good morning community!! We have approximately 30 super nice purses and bags that will soon be making their way to the women's shelter and Family Violence Prevention. In order to make this donation happen I am calling on any and all willing donors to help fill these purses. Items in the most need are deodorant, snacks, chap stick, toothbrushes, razors, and feminine products. Please help us to continue providing hope and encouragement to our local women in need. Have gotten several awesome donations recently and am gearing up for a FANTASTIC March donation. Please pray for our cause and consider donating. Items most in need at this time are travel sized hygiene products.

37 purses stuffed for our December haul!! I am so thankful to everyone who donated and today these purses make their way to Family Violence Prevention and into the hands of women who need them. My prayer today over these purses is that those who have given know that they are a blessing and those who are receiving know that they are loved.

Another load of stuffed purses will be heading to Family Violence Prevention on Monday!! December has been a wonderful month with many blessings but help and donations are still needed. This ongoing project offers love and encouragement to women in a time of need. Many of us will never have to endure the hardship of being forced from home or family due to violence, but for those who are checking into the Family Violence Prevention Shelter in Batesville that hardship is a reality. These women may be empty handed and without necessities. The Purse Project hopes to provide them with a few of these necessities packaged in a gently used purse. December is here and with it a season of giving!! Please take a moment today to stop and consider how easy it can be for you to send a message of hope, love, and encouragement to a local woman in need. This woman may be the one you see on the streets, in the grocery store with her children, or even your own daughter, mother, or sister. Please consider donating your gently used purses or items that can be used to "stuff" a purse to be given to the women checking into the Family Violence Prevention shelter in Batesville. Warm scarves, cozy socks, hygiene items, nail polish, hair ties, snacks, and anything else that you would like to have in your purse would be a perfect donation. Please contact me with any questions or to donate any items. No donation is too small.
