What a sweet, funny, and emotional Christmas romance. This is my first romance with a pregnant heroine and a fake engagement, which helped add to the drama of the story. I loved Rafe and fully empathized with his struggle to open himself up to love again after a tragedy. Kaitlyn was strong and independent, so it was nice to see her journey to let down her guard and trust that she could rely on a partner. If you like small town romances and big families then you’ll want to cuddle up with this book as we head into the holidays.

Happy Pub Day to for her debut novel, The Friend Zone. This is absolutely one of my favorite book’s of the year. Not only is it hilarious and relatable, but it will break your heart and put it back together before the end. By the last page I was already begging for the next book, which honestly says so much about how invested you are with this world of characters. So pick it up from your favorite retailer or your local library, and then DM me when you’re done so we can gush over everything.

Got some good today from . I really enjoyed Jenny Hale’s Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses so I’m looking forward to diving into this summer romance. The Summer House comes out on May 7th

It’s crazy to think summer is right around the corner. Spring is always rainy in Portland so it really feels like “winter-lite” rather than actual spring. Happy February! I’m so excited for my this month. In celebration of I’m prioritizing reading black authors. These are my physical books but I also have ebooks and audiobooks to add to the mix. Cozy Saturday’s are my favorite because I know I still have one more day to enjoy myself. Sunday’s often end up feeling more stressful because I’m trying to get everything done before the work week starts and I’m back to being exhausted. Hope you got to enjoy your Saturday doing whatever makes you happy! I read, watched tv, and iced my sprained ankle. It’s definitely been nice to slow down after the holidays and enjoy a lazy weekend.
