What a great night! The PLFC Annual Christmas Cocktail Party was a great success. Thanks to all for such a warm and wonderful evening. Special thanks to the Buoy Bar for hosting such a fantastic event. The service, food and atmosphere could not have been better!

Tomorrow is the big night! We have a wonderful turnout expected with almost 100 rsvps! Thank you in advance to the Fisherman’s Catch for hosting us. What a great way to close out the Point Lookout Fishing Club fish-off season! Scott T-Sea brings in a striped bass schoolie to win the prize for most fish caught of any species!

Last fish of the year. Congratulations Rob Deverna for catching a 19” fish to win the pool with only 3 minutes remaining in the tournament and the season!

Not perfect weather last night for our first Point Lookout Fishing Club fish-off but the 12 of us that were there sure had fun. We caught 3 skate and 1 good sized bluefish which were all happily returned to Reynolds Channel!

What a great night. The PLFC Fisherman’s Ball might have been our best yet. We had a great turnout with a wonderful group of people. And what a way to call it a night! Absolutely awesome!

Big night tonight for the Point Lookout Fishing Club! Tonight is our Oktoberfest meeting with German foods from Forest Pork Store in Huntington all prepared by the wonderful kitchen crew at the Buoy Bar. We also have a great guest speaker. Bob Schmitt from Sea Rogue Charters will be telling us about how exciting fishing in our area in the fall can be!

Great Oktoberfest meeting tonight! Thanks all for attending and thanks more to Jeanne and wait staff for all of their hard work and generosity, Marvin and the kitchen staff for their expertise in the kitchen, Jim for being so attentive behind the bar and Tom Doheny for... something. Hold on, let me think of what I might be able to thank him for. Just kidding, of course. Without you, Mr Doheny, none of this would be possible.
