I’m Katie—a designer and calligrapher who believes every life milestone deserves a joke-cracking greeting card or a perfectly inked invitation. I grew up in the desert oasis of Scottsdale, AZ, but eventually traded the cacti for the coastline to be closer to my amazing, dysFUNctional family. I never left—mainly because I met my amazing husband, Shawn, and realized New England is Hallmark-worthy fo

r my love of all things cozy. A few years ago, we moved our home base to the charming, coastal town of Plymouth, MA, where I officially added 'Mama of two wild ones' (James and Jake) to my resume. When I’m not designing, you can find me chasing the kids at sporting events, getting elbow-deep in arts and crafts at the kitchen table, or traveling the world to my next favorite destination. My creative process usually involves doodling on my iPad while scouting the menu of the newest restaurant in town. You can bet there’s a crisp, cold Sauvignon Blanc in my hand.

A fun little behind-the-scenes moment 👋✨

I recently did an interview with CanvasRebel about how I learned calligraphy and slowly turned a creative side hobby into a side business filled with cards, stickers, prints, and colorful chaos 😂

We talked about balancing creativity outside of my full-time career, figuring things out as I went, and how this whole thing started with me just really loving letters and making people laugh.

Still kind of wild that something I started for fun became something people actually connect with 💌

Sometimes you just know it’s time for a refresh…like the time I realized that my screen name, pnkrockprincs, wouldn’t work in the business world (rude). My profile photo was getting pretty dated (insert sarcastic comment here) and I had new merch that no one knew about. So I gave my Etsy Shop a glow-up!
