I started The Mad Padder in 2010 with a core line of personalized notepads produced here in my Texas studio. I always wanted a set of notepads with my name on them and set out to create them on my own. Friends saw how cute they turned out when I wrote a short note to them, carried one with a grocery list written on it, or wrote a note to the school for something. The product line then developed ov

The seed trays are officially out, which means gardening season has begun at our house.
There is something very hopeful about tiny packets promising tomatoes, herbs, and flowers… assuming I can keep them alive longer than two weeks.
This year I’m trying Seed Snails, a clever little space-saving method where you roll soil and seedlings into a spiral using newspaper.
Less mess. Less space. Fewer trays.

If this works, I may actually have vegetables this summer.

Does your desk look like a paper tornado passed through it?

Same.

Spring is the perfect time for a little workspace reset, and I just shared a new blog post with 10 simple ways to refresh your desk and get organized (without spending an entire weekend doing it).

Inside the post you’ll find ideas like:
• clearing clutter so you can actually see your desk again
• creating a daily planning space
• keeping a capture pad nearby for brilliant ideas before they disappear

Because let’s be honest…most of our best ideas happen right before we forget them.

If your workspace could use a little love this spring, come take a look.
