This quote had been swirling around in my head for a while now and I still go back and forth on what it truly means, so I want to know your thoughts; how do you interpret this quote?
Perhaps it means that pain is, in some cases, the indication of an unhealed wound. It alerts us to something within us that still hurts from our past that we haven’t fully addressed, and perhaps it takes a bit of pain for us to take an introspective look into these wounds in order to heal them.
Or maybe it means that in order to heal one must face the pain head on, let it be felt in its entirety, use that pain all up until it has no other choice but to transmute into healing.
[This post has been in my drafts for a while and it seems quite fitting to post in this season of life.]
