GET PEANUT INTO FROSTED FACES DOG RESCUE https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/97eHUV6avn
Peanut is a 6 year old Chihuahua/Yorkie. His person passed away July 30, 2024. He was relinquished to me after finding out several things.
Firstly, that her son was taking him to a shelter, which meant certain death for him because he's a fear-biter, or just putting him outside to run away & locking him out.
Next, that there was no dog food in the house to feed him.
What put me over the edge was finding out Peanut had overdosed & was taken to ER Vets 3 times after getting leftover Fentanyl in tin foil! I immediately took possession of Peanut, knowing I cannot keep him, but would work tirelessly to find him a good home or a no-kill rescue.
I found a handful of caring people willing to adopt him, but inevitably they couldn't because he doesn't get along with other animals and shouldn't be around children. This is the same reason I cannot keep him, even now that I've gotten so fond of him, he's gotten attached to me & no longer bites me...my cats & dog are a completely different story-he tries to attack them.
I finally found a wonderful rescue for Peanut called Frosted Faces Foundation. They have programs to care for animals for their entire life in every way in the event of illness and/or death, through fosters, a furever home or at their facility. They will never euthanize for behavior problems or treatable medical conditions. The cost of their "Final Wish" program for pets of dying or deceased owners is $2,000. I do not have the funds to pay them, but if l did would gladly pay it to ensure he's happy, safe and well cared for until a new home for him is found. He's been through so much..losing his mama, losing the only home he's ever known & soon losing me-the person he's grown to trust & cuddle up with. I so much wish I was able to keep him, but for the safety of my own grandbaby & furbabies I can't. He also has to be outside while I'm working 10-13 hrs a day...it's do-able now, but not in colder seasons.
Please help me get this lil guy into their program.
