Huge thank you to everyone who donated to both fundraisers in Tonya‘s memory! With the matching donations, we raised $3,650 for ACCT and $5,230 for Fox Chase Cancer Center. Please know that these funds are going to two amazing causes that were near and dear to Tonya’s heart. Your overwhelming kindness and generosity are so greatly appreciated, and I hope we can all continue to lift up the world around us as Tonya would want.

Thank you to everyone who came to Tonya’s celebration of life last week. It was wonderful to see everyone and share all the love that you have for Tonya. And it was so special to share it in a place that means so much to us. If anyone happens to have a picture of the celebration or the people hanging around, please send it my way. I was so distracted by all the excitement that I didn’t even think to take a picture. Also, we will be shutting down the fundraisers next week and I will be matching the totals. The great news is that both have far exceeded the goal, so thank you all so very much for donating and Tonya‘s name.

Reminder to anyone interested in attending: this Friday at 1pm in Peace Valley Park (pavilion #3) we will be having a celebration of life for Tonya. This won’t be a formal event with speeches or eulogizing, just a group of people who love Tonya coming together to spend time with each other. We will be hosting a gathering on November 7th at Peace Valley Park to celebrate Tonya’s life. It will be a causal gathering for friends to come together and share memories. Pups are welcome and snacks will be provided. Reach out to Ethan Salk with any questions or requests.

Ethan got some great photos of my new setup during the Flower Show this year & this one is my favorite… I am so grateful so many of our plants found wonderful new homes! I just got some great Thai Constellation babes that will be with us next year!

First six pictures are from my set up this year for the Flower Show, the last picture was from my 2024 Flower Show setup. The last picture is the picture I looked at when coming up with a new, fresh, eye catching booth display (and the need for 8’ pipe and drape in between the booth spaces in the Maker’s Market!!!) I had the best time building this new setup with , we make a good team, all-around! My goal was to draw you in, showcase our OOAK Sycamore home goods creations, make it clean and simple, yet feel homey!!! I am so AMAZINGLY proud of booth display this year and just you wait, next year will be even better!!! I love when everything comes together exactly how you want/expect it to…. I am thinking of potentially doing booth display setups for other like-minded artists in the Philly area, for the longer running shows… Is this something anyone would be interested?

I’ve got a cuddly little sh*t monkey as one of my best friend these days… It is coming around on almost a year of having this poopy little bundle of joy in our lives, Gizmo, aka. “Mocha Jones”, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have heard myself say one too many times, ohhhh, you pooped in the house, but gosh you are so cute!!! I don’t care, that’s why steam cleaners were invented!! I love my boys, all three of them!! Even the not so poopy ones 🤗

My latest obsession these days, Honey Drops from I had the honor of meeting this family owned business, who also is a deaf owned business, and to say they have the best tasting honey, is an understatement. I got to meet John and his Mom l, and the entire crew during the Flower Show, and managed to get through the crowds of people at their space, tasting their deliciously sweet honey products! I went OG and got their original honey and these Honey Drops, and I am addicted! Just the perfect touch of natural sweetness to get you through your day…. Such a great business, such amazing products, give them a follow and see where you can find them next!! I will be looking to find them soon and maybe we will see you there!!!
