Can't say enough about what this man taught us at DeadDrift... We will not forget...

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of fly fishing legend Bob Pops. Bob was a veteran, local business owner, fishing legend, and all around great person. Some of us here were honored to call him a friend, while some have only had a few conversations with him, but he was always more than willing to help everyone out and share his extensive knowledge. The fishing community is worse off with his passing. May he rest easy and his family and friends find peace.

Couple quick pics from the last week or so. Making the most of temps and water conditions. Fall was great to us on the Great lakes tributaries and winter has followed suit. Fish continue to readily accept beads bags and worms as well as properly presented flys. Come fish.

Dog days making way for fall colors. Was fortunate to spend this warm summer day with Carl poking all sorts of fish with light spin and fly gear. No shortage of players on the Ye Old Delaware River.

Couple fish from that last few weeks. Although I enjoy inland pinning I have not put down the flyrods and mini two hander. High flows have been great for swinging the trout speys and hatches have been heavy.. Seems like the cold snap will give us an extra week or two on fishable temps. Still looking to get in on some cicada action... Go fish! have fun! And keep an eye on the temps.
