Yesterday for 4 hours I sat and watched young and old pick through bowls of shark teeth as I did when I was a young child. There is nothing more exciting than going to a fossil show or a farmer's market and find someone who has bowls of 🦈shark teeth to plunder through🏴‍☠️! I truly cannot say how enjoyable life is when you're watching the smiles come on people's faces by something as simple as digging through a bowl of 🦈shark teeth🦈! I'm glad I can provide that opportunity. In this world there's so much trouble and just to sit and look through a bowl of shark teeth gives one so much pleasure it's crazy! 🦈🦈🦈🙏🙏

From 2019-2024 I hunted Morris Island with Coastal Expeditions and then with my good friend Chuck Gainey with Island Cove Charters for shark teeth. I then hired a friend to take me and drop me off so I could hunt and stay and hunt as long as I liked. I did this daily for 5 years driving hours to enjoy the adventure.
I would walk that island alone many days for hours and find incrediable massive amounts of teeth. With time, storms and hurricanes I watched the huge dredge banks wash away into the sea. They are no longer there.🥲 While teeth continue to show up it will never be the same as it use to be in my eyes. So many new "Companies" came to the area, mostly people who were new to the state and brought the influence of social media and boat loads of tourist coming to compete for a piece of the action dropping hundreds off to hunt daily to plunder. It truly is a romantic place that has a special place in my heart. It truly lost its magic when the crowds came for me. I still go about once a year in the dead of winter just to be on the island 🏝️ for its beauty. I was lucky to experience the days with Chuck when finding big teeth by the bags full was a reality and the joy of having the island alone a magical thing! Oh how I miss that.
Morris Island is no secret anymore and has not been for the last 3 years. It's been a fabulous place to hunt and walk for its history and beauty since it became part of the history of its building of Fort Wagner for protection during the civil war that long washed into the sea. The dredge spoils that were added in 1962 and up until 2004 added that extra magical part but are truly long gone. Remnants still produce some goodies for lucky folks daily if they want to go and fight the crowds for those few treasures left for big money.
Photos are a blessing. I use to post my photos on shark tooth sites and be criticized that it was fake and there's no way I could have found all those teeth in one spot in a day! Chuck and I would just sit back with a smile on our face and not say a word to where we were but those that were smart knew. Morris Island was sooo good to me....🧜‍♀️🙏❤️🌴🌊💯
As the years went on and so did the crowds we all know where I went... to the Blackwater with Captain JT! And that is the real adventure began!

What is one of the most wonderful things in the world? In my personal opinion it's the hobby of learning about and loving 🦈shark teeth🦈! As a shark tooth Hunter for life I've been hunting shark teeth since I was about 5 years old. I have found thousands of them. There's nothing cooler than wearing a beautiful shark tooth around your neck and having people ask you about about it. To be able to have a fossil hanging around your neck that is millions of years old and to be able to talk about it and share with people about it is exceptionally wonderful. Anytime someone buys one from me they always tell me later how happy they are that they did it. They tell me it gets so much attention and they love to share about the history. It's about being different, and the true excitement of owning something cool. It's pretty darn special. I have people tell me all the time they love the hook wraps. Nobody has what we have and it's pretty darn cool. I have repeat customers who always tell me the hook wrap is just the best. I like it. Matter of fact I love it! I have multiples that I wear. I have some of the prettiest ones we've ever made. I keep it simple, I'll wear it on a leather cord. I mix it with other jewelry, or just wear it alone.
