We get asked a lot about what products we use because folks want an honest opinion from someone who uses that product regularly. I’m going to start giving an honest review of what we use whether good, bad or indifferent. We have partners and sponsors however it will never sway my opinion or what I have to say about their product.

So on this last trip was a perfect time to test out the Offduty Overland edition Mothy Off-Road Solar Panel set up. First off I wanted to use and abuse it so I could tell you about it. During the trip out west I made sure to leave lights on, fans running, BougeRV fridge set on freeze charging all electronics off the trailer and run a BougeRV Air conditioner through an inverter to see if I could beat this array. Several mornings I would have my 330 ah Battery down to 75 or 80 percent. I would leave the panel extended until we were ready to move on and collapse it down to 1 panel. After arriving at every camp in the evening my battery was never below 98 percent. Tim does an amazing job building these units and can match up perfectly what your needs are. I never had a worry after the second day of battery usage, this set up completely eliminated the “fear of no power”.

The only issue I found is after several hours of dusty travel the tracks did gather dust which was easily fixed by wiping them off once I figured out the sliding issue.

I would 100 percent recommend this panel on any new trailer or rig build, or upgrade your existing system. I will never worry about more batteries or power again. Thank you Tim for building such an amazing set up for us.
