First attempt on my resin skull. 5 different layers. Several different techniques. But I learned and am excited to try again. I’m really happy how the wave layer came out!

I’ve taken a nice long break to recover from the school year and multiple spring shows. BUT! I’m back and I have so many ideas and things I want to make. First up is my last spring show at Loft 22 in Papillion on June 20th- during Papillion Days! Starting to make 4th of July inspired decor. This is my first step- glue the glass to the frame. This allows for me to work with designs and creates a barrier so all of the resin doesn’t pour out. I let it rest for 24 hours and then it’s good to go. I give the glass a good cleaning before putting it in the frame.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the support I received from my friends and family with the craft shows. Not only that I had several people want custom orders. This little project that I just wanted to cover my hobby’s expenses was so much fun to do!
