I've been absent but not idle, preparing for the Douglas County fair, Sarpy County fair, and Dundee Days has been a whirlwind. Creating new art has been exhilarating but time is scarce. I value your engagement and feedback when I post, though I've been disheartened by scammers. Papillion Days was pure awesomeness. Now I've got three weeks to gear up for the Douglas County fair. My crafty self has painted 60 coasters and a couple cutting boards so far. Tomorrow's all about resin, then the cycle starts anew.

Another fantastic event went down over the weekend, but the rain was a real party pooper. The turnout was awesome, though. I'm taking a two-week break, and then it's time to get this party started with Papillion Days - you won't want to miss it. It's four days of non-stop food, carnival action, music, and, if I'm not mistaken, a beer garden on the weekends - I'll have to fact-check that one. I'll be busy prepping for the next two weeks, so wish me luck.
