Lots going on as usual. :-) In early December I took a part-time job at the Indian River Antique Mall which is located in the Publix Shopping Plaza on Babcock Street and Hibiscus Avenue, here in Melbourne. Then recently, I rented a booth in the antique mall and transitioned out of my shop / leather studio in downtown. Soooo, now it's all in one tidy place including the leather purses which I am now making happily from home! The best part is the mall makes the sales for all their antique dealers, so I can travel and still make sales!
Here are recent photos of the merge of "Kim Cruickshank Leather" at Stag's Leap Leatherworks and Stag's Leap Antiques and Vintage. My two passions. Come down and visit me and ask for Kim's booth!

It's that time of year again!!
The 10th Annual Native Rhythms Festival!
It is a 3 day Native American cultural and flute player's festival out at Wickham Park in lovely Melbourne, Florida. It starts Friday morning, Nov. 9th and ends at 5pm Sunday night, Nov. 11th.

Back again, had to miss last night's post.

Well he goes.... Starting tonight, I've decided to post each night, one of the bags that I'm calling the "Mountain Series". They are all bags that I've made since I've been up here at the mountain house and worked at my kitchen table Leather Studio. :) Each bag has been inspired by something I've seen right out these kitchen windows.
My next door neighbor has two of the cutest, most adorable ponies in his meadow. They are for his grandchildren when they come to visit! How sweet!

Hi everyone, I arrived in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC last week Monday and it's so incredibly beautiful up here! The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming and the mountains are smiling.
I did my first Blowing Rock, NC art show "Art in the Park" this past Saturday. It was great and the upcoming shows are once a month...on 7/14 - 8/11 - 9/08 & 10/06.
I've set up my leather studio on my kitchen table at the house here and the views out the windows give me so much inspiration to create my handmade, rustic, edgy, hip, groovy leather shoulder bags! :)
I'm attaching photos so you all can see where the purses you bought at the first show or will be interested in having in the future, are being created.
