This one hurts… 💔🎣

The Pacifica Pier and Chit Chat Cafe weren’t just a pier and a little shop to many of us, they were a part of our childhood, our families, and our memories.

I still remember my dad bringing me here when I was younger, fishing with my brothers, waiting for that next bite, and creating memories that I still carry with me today. Years later, I was able to bring my own kids and family here to experience those same moments.

For so many anglers, this was where we caught our first salmon when they used to run through, learned patience, shared laughs, and spent time with the people we love.

Seeing an iconic place like this possibly come to an end is heartbreaking. Thank you Chit Chat Cafe and Pacifica Pier for all the memories, friendships, and the fishing stories that will live on forever.

Sad to see this happen to our beloved Pacifica Pier. 💔

This pier means a lot to me personally. My dad taught me how to fish there, and over the years I’ve been able to teach my own kids, family, and friends how to fish and crab there too.
So many memories were made on that pier, and I know a lot of people in our community feel the same way.

It was more than just a place to fish it was a place where families bonded, traditions were passed down, and people from all walks of life could enjoy the ocean together.

Hoping somehow this isn’t the end of such an iconic place. Pacifica Pier will always mean something special to so many of us.

The surf bite in NorCal is heating up and bigger numbers of stripers are starting to show!

CJ got right on top of this bite and made it happen with a a few solid striped bass from the sand.

Always awesome seeing teenagers put in the work and get rewarded when fish starts moving in.

New study confirms what we already knew.
After catching their biggest fish, fishermen are scientifically proven to retell the story at least 47 times… and somehow the fish gets bigger every single time.

At first it was “a solid one”… then by the end of the week it was basically a sea monster that almost pulled them overboard.

But honestly, if you caught your PB, you earned the right to tell that story over and over.

We caught another halibut on the 360 camera chasing our live bait.

The underwater footage has been crazy lately. You can see the smelt stacked near the surface, then this halibut starts closing in on our live bait like it’s locked on target.

This is why we keep risking the camera down there, you never know what’s happening under the surface until you actually see it.

That fish follows your lure like it’s about to commit… then the second you pause the action too long, it gives you that look and backs out like it never wanted it in the first place.
