One Year of Growth & Gratitude!

Last year, I set up my very first booth for D-Marie’s Sweet Threads at PolyCon, hosted by Florida Polytechnic University. It was the beginning of a dream—sharing my handmade fabric book covers with the world!

Yesterday marked one full year since officially launching my business, and I returned to PolyCon with even more designs, experience, and confidence. Seeing how far this journey has come fills me with so much joy and gratitude.

Work in progress: a potato chip quilt in bold black, white, gray, and sunny yellow! ✨ This pattern is as fun as it is addictive—you really can’t make just one! The 2.5” x 6.5” rectangles come together in a playful, scrappy design that’s perfect for cozying up in my family room when it’s done.

There’s something so satisfying about watching a quilt grow, piece by piece, stitch by stitch. Can’t wait to finish this one!
