For National Wear Red Day, I wore a red shirt and Queen of Hearts on my nails 💅🏽.
Showing my support for National Heart Health month is very personal to me (from my dad’s emergency surgery in 2017 then to my nephew’s lifesaving surgery).
Wear Red Day promotes heart disease awareness, especially for being a silent killer for women.

10 year challenge
I remember going through some really challenging times in my personal life during this time. Also, being in school whilst working full time (12 hr hospital shifts), being a wife, mom, and everything else in between. It was a bit much! Shout out to everyone who may be facing struggles and still you rise. It’s not easy, but what’s harder is still being in that place. I’m more secure and confident now, not just in my own skin but in my worth, and as a woman of God.

To kick off 2022, the Color Street Foundation is lifting up families affected by birth defects and raising awareness for an important charity partner's mission to fight for the health of moms and babies and promote health equity for all.

This year, the Color Street Foundation is pledging $1 million to as the National Signature Partner for March for Babies 2022.

Two limited-edition shades designed to support this campaign will launch at 8:30 AM PT today, January 6. Hold Me Close and Precious Gift will help to promote important conversations and support infants and families affected by birth defects.
