We went back to the drawing board and redesigned our ram air airbox. The result was a gain of 5 wheel horsepower and 4 lb-ft of torque on our naturally aspirated shop truck.
The truck has already gone 11.63 @ 117 mph at a full race weight of 4,600 lbs, proving that attention to detail and continuous development make a difference.
Next on the list is a Whipple setup. We're excited to see how far we can push the platform and what our ram air system can do when paired with significantly more airflow and power.

Prototype Customer Update!

One of our prototype customers has been putting our WRCC Innovations Ram Air Intake through its paces and absolutely loves it.

This truck is currently running one of our prototype systems, but it won't be staying that way for long. As soon as our production carbon fiber components arrive, this setup will be upgraded to the full carbon version.

Designed specifically for the 2018+ F-150 5.0 platform.

We're excited to see these kits making their way onto customer trucks and can't wait to start shipping the carbon fiber production versions.

Here is all the testing we did with our Whipple ram air vs stage 2 Whipple air box. This 2024 truck came in with no mods other than a stage 2 Whipple, this is all done on the same day with the same calibration. Attached are dyno graphs and data logs to show the results. We saw a +15whp and +15wtrq gain under the across the power band with a slight increase in boost at higher IATs due to heat of the day.

The time slips are when we first tested the prototype on Rowans Rides Silver f150 with stage 2 and bolt ons on 93. We saw an increase of 4 MPH with no tune changes. We were unable to get data logs on this test.

Both trucks had a 3.75 pulley
