☀️ Summer is here, and with it comes a shift.

New schedules. Vacations. Different weather. Life looks a little different for the next few months, and whether you love change or dread it… it's here.

So instead of just managing it, what if you used it?

Ask yourself: What opportunity does this change afford me?

Maybe it's finally switching up your workout routine. Maybe it's meal prepping on the weekends while the house is quieter. Maybe it's setting a consistent playdate for your kids (or your dog 🐾) every week for the next 10 weeks.

Big or small. Temporary or permanent. Summer gives you a little extra permission to try something new or adjust your current approach.

If you want a peaceful daily routine, start here. Before you check messages, open social media, or mentally race through your to-do list, pause and turn your attention to God.

This does not have to be long or complicated. It can be as simple as:

- praying before getting out of bed
- reading a passage of Scripture
- writing out a prayer in your Anchored Notebook
- asking, “Lord, what matters most today?”

This one shift can change the tone of your whole day. A simple routine is not about legalism or earning God’s approval. It is about remembering His presence before the world starts asking things of you.
