{ VERY long time, no see friends!!! }

Since January, it has been crunch time for me professionally. I have been finishing my undergraduate degree, applying for graduate school, and getting ready for my upcoming career in social work! I am so very grateful for my time at OU and I have really enjoyed getting to focus on that aspect of my life the past couple of months.

With that being said.. is still alive and well! Keep your eyes on Instagram in the next week...details for a spring sale, mission scholarship applications, and new summer styles will be coming VERY soon!

I have definitely been pretty inactive the past month. Between the holidays, quarantining madness, and vacation, I have been pretty busy spending time with those most important to me!!! It has been a very restful time with my people.

{ 12 Days of Mission Moments: Day 3 }

We took a slight pause on our mission moments series due to Christmas at the Ranch! BUT, we are coming in strong to Day 3 with Kayleigh Wiyninger’s story!

I have been to Nicaragua and to Mexico before with Kayleigh. She is an incredible woman for the Lord and I know you’ll love hearing her story!

“My favorite mission moment is still how we ended up working on the island in Nicaragua. Summer 2012 ... we got this crazy idea to see if we could paddle off the coast of Corinto to a place on a nearby island.  We had camped out there the previous year so we were aiming for that location.  Well... it was a lot further than we realized and the current pulled us quite a ways away from our destination.  When we landed, we were exhausted.  The idea of paddling back was out of the question at the moment so we began looking to see if we could talk some fishermen into giving us a ride back.  At this point we didn’t know anyone actually lived there.  As we were walking down the beach, we spotted a couple of ladies carrying fish.  We asked if they had a boat to take us back to the mainland.  They invited us into their home while we figured out a way to get back.  I still remember them cleaning off their dining table to stick our surfboards on so they wouldn’t get dirty!   The next week, Aurelio (the pastor’s son) and Ben, our Chiva that year, paddled across again to set up a time where we could bring a mission team over and share the gospel.  A week after that, we were sitting on the same island where 8 adults accepted Christ as their savior!  The next year we built an church there.  It still blows my mind that God would use a few crazy people paddling surfboards on an adventure to bring the gospel to a group of now believers.”

{ Christmas at the Ranch update! }

It was such a fun weekend getting to be with so many incredible makers! It was a great time to spend with my family, get to share the mission of sendher, and raise some money for missions! The grand total for the whole weekend was...$1,350!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤩🌟

All of the money we made this weekend will be going into the sendher mission scholarship fund! Starting January 5th, applications will be available to women wanting to go on overseas mission trips this coming year! So, if you are planning on going somewhere or have a friend that is, STAY TUNED!

I am so excited for what is to come in 2021! Thank you all for all your support and encouragement! I truly couldn’t do any of this without you.

In all seriousness, we had a great time today! Blake enjoyed his last day as a kid today (he turns 18 tomorrow) and we sold about 80 pairs of earrings!!!

I cannot WAIT to tell all you friends how much money we raised for the mission fund this weekend. Thank you to everyone who has been praying over this weekend and this shop! I couldn’t do any of this without your prayers and the supportive people around me! Big love!
