Friday nights during dahlia season looks a lot like this. Anyone else feel like it’s Christmas in October while you’re dividing your tuber clumps? 💐🫶

Warning: extreme cuteness is currently sitting in your email from Kendall Kuss | Family & Baby Photographer🐽📸

Galleries from our Piglets + Pumpkins event went out this morning! Looking through these shots has our hearts completely full. Between the sleepy Kunekune snuggles, towering stacks of heirloom pumpkins, and warm cups of The Chai Company, it was one of our absolute favorite days of the season.

More than anything, we are so grateful for each and every one of you who made the trip out to First Roots Farm. Getting to step away from the screens and connect with our community face-to-face is something we never take for granted.

Endless love to Kendall Kuss | Family & Baby Photographer Photography for turning farm chaos and piglet zoomies into timeless keepsakes.

Go check your inboxes, download your favorites, and tag us so we can swoon along with you! 🤍

As we look back on the 2026 season, our hearts are completely full.

To every single person who walked down our rows this year: thank you. Thank you for filling baskets during sunny uPick mornings, gathering around the tables for workshops, trusting us to capture your family during micro mini sessions, and choosing the farm as the backdrop for your celebrations.

First Roots Farm has always been about so much more than just the flowers in the dirt. It’s about the people who gather here. It was truly an honor watching this community grow and sharing our fields with you all season long.

Want to bring a little piece of the farm into your own backyard next year? Our Dahlia Tuber Sale is still in full swing! Snag your mystery bundle today at the link in our bio while supplies last, and cultivate your own blooms next season.

Thank you for planting roots with us this year. We’re so grateful you’re here!

Have you ever had so many dahlia tubers that you ran out of crates and had to use a 5x10 trailer just to get them off the field, washed, and sorted fast enough?

Yeah, neither have we. Until this year. 😂

Sometimes you’ve just gotta do what you’ve gotta do!

We’re a family farm, and this year has definitely been a learning experience as we continue to expand. We thought we were pretty well prepared for this year’s harvest, but the sheer number of tubers coming out of our field has exceeded our expectations.

All good problems to have, I suppose!

We’re pretty excited to share this year’s harvest with all of you! Our Mystery Dahlia Tuber Sale is happening now, with tubers grown right here on our family farm.

Y’all, WE DID IT! 🎉 The digging portion of our dahlia harvest is officially DONE! 7,000 dahlia tuber clumps out of the ground in just 7 days! 👏

We still have at least two full days of washing ahead of us and endless hours of dividing, but this is a HUGE milestone!

To everyone who helped us tackle this ginormous task, THANK YOU! We absolutely could not have pulled this off without you.

The number of tubers coming out of our dahlia field this year is absolutely amazing. And the number of you who have already purchased our mystery dahlia tubers? Equally amazing!

Seriously, keep those orders coming because otherwise I might be tempted to plant 20,000 dahlias next season, and I’m not entirely sure that’s a good idea. 😂

Or maybe it is…

Either way, our mystery dahlia tuber sale is happening NOW, and we’d love to send some of this incredible harvest your way! Shop at firstrootsfarm.com 🌸
