Sav's Vintage Values Hi! My name is Savannah and I have created this page for an online college course based around business and marketing!

My dream is to create an adult sized doll carrier for those special emotional support bears some of us like to carry with us in public! My name is Savannah and I a student at Mira Costa College. This page is being used as an exercise for one of my class courses, this is not a real business but rather an idea of one I would like to have in the foreseeable future. :)

What would you consider "vintage?"

I'm really curious to know if what I "see" as something vintage is similar to anyone else! So please comment and tell me what toys you would consider to be "vintage" today compared to 15-20+ years ago! Did you play with these toys when you were a kid? I'm sure most of you have heard of the 'glass slipper' but have you heard of a 'ceramic slipper?!"

Yes! I'm talking about these fancy shoes! These are miniature shoes that were created by a company called "Just The Right Shoe" that was founded by a woman named Raine between the years 1998 and 2006! Raine crafted over 222 different designs by hand, and they were a hit in multiple department stores during their first releases and a major favorite among women and collector's during this time.

Each shoe is given a quirky name and are always displayed as the "right shoe" in a pairing, however I was not able to discover the names of these wonderful little shoes I found while out thrifting the other day! There are so many different shoes to collect even though the company does not release new variants anymore, but they are wonderful! Would you want to collect these???

Here's a great vintage find! What you see here is a Care Bear themed Coin Bank that features Wish Bear and a Star Buddy. This item was released in 1984 and quite a handful were made. The exact number of how many were produced is unclear (as I could not discern an official number when researching online) but these are a common sight among resellers on Etsy and Ebay.

This one in particular is a really great find due to its condition being near perfect (never used) when I came across it! It even comes included with its original box! This would make such a cute addition to a collector's shelf!

Hi Everyone! Expect this to be a little bit of an introductory post I suppose, and bear with me here as I have never used Facebook as a platform before taking the online course that has prompted me to make this social media page.

First things first. . . Well my name is Savannah and I am twenty-three years old! I've always found myself drawn to older, historical/vintage things while growing up in the early 2000's. Anyone who has met me would say I've got an old soul and I am proud of that!

What are some of my hobbies and interests?
To answer this, I am a passionate gamer and artist. I have been drawing since fifth grade and have transitioned from only focusing on traditional art to digital in the past couple of years. If I am not playing a game or drawing, I'll be busy organizing my super big Care Bear Collection!

Why did I want to start this page?
The main reason why I started this aside from it being mandatory for the course has to do with the fact that I LOVE anything vintage as I mentioned near the top of this post, so this page represents a type of online business I would love to officially create one day where I can thrift for old vintage items and resell them to new homes!
