As a fellow human being, and business owner, there is nothing I love more than kind customer service. Omar, at UPS was the most verbally disrespectful rep I have ever dealt with since December of 2018 regularly picking up shipments at UPS.
No one walks into any establishment with expectations of disheartening customer service but yesterday this wasn't the case for me. I dealt first hand with the WORST customer service representative at UPS located on Cypress Creek Road.
I walked into a UPS store to pick up my package as I have done four times in the last 7 weeks. When the rep. there named "Omar", at the local store intentionally threw box on the counter, asked me to leave the store, and taunted me while I walked out of the store saying "I hope you wear a mask at your wedding".
This made me feel like the elephant room, because in less than four minutes he explicitly made it clear I was in his mind a "non customer". Not a surprise, here's a fun fact; at the time I was the only black guy in the store, with two other white men who in his words were his "customers". One which you see in the video. The other standing directly behind my wife Jalisa McLamore and I.
For those who know me personally, you understand very well, I rarely take up anything public like this online, and rarely post on social media. But Omars behavior yesterday at the UPS store located at 6330 N Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 was disgusting. I can't think of a more unacceptable showing in my life, I have received better customer service at fast food restaurants. And I know there are some people out there, who are wondering what really happened, Jackson Saint-fort? Maybe overreacting? Well, see it for yourself, heres video of this exchange, please this post.
