Ambush Charters

We have sold the Ambush and we are going to be commercial fishing this year for Salmon & Tuna. We are trying to semi-retire. We loved our charter customers and our experiences with them. We will be docked on Port Dock 7 on the north side. We are fishing a new boat to us named the "Kae Le Belle" named after our three grand daughters. She is 37' long.
Nothing like fresh iced fish!! Our best to all of you this season. Be safe & have fun. Dick & Peggy

9-17-11 Headed out with 6 fishermen on board, one newbie the rest tunaholics. Arrived at Windy Island to fine unfishable conditions. Returned to port in ruff seas. The tuna are still here. Will be watching the weather and booking as soon as possible.

9-15-11 Captain Dick Pickett & 4 other Captains take a day off.....Went fishing...38 Tuna on light gear...Great day off.

You know that grin tuna fishermen get once in a while that lasts all day....It was one of those exceptional days of tuna fishing with light gear. Beautiful ocean..jumpers all around, drifting into them and tossing a little chum.. Fish on!

There are seats open on Tuna trips for Tuesday the 13th & Saturday the 17th.

The September nonselective Coho season closes today the 7th. We had a great productive season whacking the Cohos. Chinook Salmon is open until the 30th of this month. Tuna is still out there in range. So we are booking for Tuna trips and Chinook trips.

The Salmon Clipped & Nonclipped season is going great. Captain Dick on the Ambush and the fishermen have landed 35 Salmon so far. We are headed out again this morning on what looks like a beautiful ocean. This special season for salmon ends on September 10th.
