waving to you to warn you, and all hell broke out. Rosetta saved your ass, son. She hit him before he could really aim at you and then that second dude popped up. I handled him, no words needed to be said.”
“Where the f**k is Black? They violated us, and now he’ll pay the price. Call the crew and get some of the men over here. We have to get our stories straight. They shot my wife; that’s the story! Rock, you cleaned up?” Smokey asked.
“Yeah, we ditched the hardware.”
“Good.”
Suddenly, the police raced into the hospital, stopping at the security desk. The security guard pointed toward Smokey. Then, they approached Smokey, Chip, and Rock.
“Put your hands in the air!” shouted the police.
“Is there a problem officers? My wife has been assaulted by some criminals while we were inside Paradise Lounge Club. One of them shot my wife!” Smokey shouted.
“Why?” the officer asked.
While he asked questions, they had them up against the wall, frisking them for weapons.
“They are clean, except this one, Sargent. Who shot those men?” Officer Anderson asked curiously.
“I don’t know,” Smokey answered. “I was too busy ducking bullets!”

“Excuse me, security, I understand Rosetta Daniel was brought into this hospital tonight with a gunshot wound.” Then he noticed Smokey being questioned by the officers.
Smokey waved them over. Two men dressed in suits and ties and one woman, looking like high-power attorneys, approached them.
“Mr. Simmons, Mr. Goldstein, are you okay, sir?” each of the lawyers asked the same questions.
The detective stepped back and said, “I am investigating these gentlemen about a shooting, and who are you gentlemen and lady?”
“We are their attorneys, and why are you investigating my clients when clearly his wife was the victim inside the social club? Mr. Daniel, I advise you to remain quiet! Now are my clients being charged with anything?” the lawyer asked
“Not at the moment!”
“And what is your name?” the lawyer a
