Recovering mentally today from a great/ long trip yet a tough day/ night as, everything that could go wrong did ending with a high level of embarrassment, exhaustion and sadness. Today is a new day... however... preparing for the week ahead as it is now May, and in 4 days marks the 5th anniversary of my grandma passing.... I don't want to be strong as usual and put on a smile, idon't want to hear she'll be proud or things will be OK....i want to be allowed to feel how i feel, authentically raw and real. ..just wish I could curl into someone's arms and be comforted during this month. Outside is tough, but my insides often reflect the opposite, but in learning to honor and embrace all of me, the soft and hard.
