What advice do you have for other women looking to make a career change but are afraid or lack confidence? ⁣⁣

Just do it. Engage your network or create a network. Know what you don’t know and learn it. Figure out why you lack confidence. For example, I had a hard time not having all the answers, but I accepted that I am really good at finding them and researching.⁣⁣

Do you have any advice on how to craft a winning pitch?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Give specific examples, best practices, and ideas in your pitch via the examples you share. You might think you are giving something away for free - who cares! You’re helping the prospective client, showing them what you know, and giving them confidence in you.⁣⁣

The topic was life after 40 and the conversation was deep, funny, real and covered everything - menopause, divorce, lasers, shopping, dating, unfulfilled dreams - everyone agreed women over 40 are at their most interesting, emotionally honest and strongest!! In partnership with Soho Works and PureWow we will be hosting a retreat focused on Hype Women: May we be them; know them; raise them! ⁣

The event includes an intimate conversation with beauty legend Trish McEvoy, a panel on being a hype woman professionally with Emily Tisch Sussman of the She Pivots podcast, Dee Poku of WIE Suite and Erin Gallagher of Ella. Finally there will be goal setting and mindset shifting through breath work with Samora Suber from Mastry.⁣
