Justin and Dana Friesen of Vintage Market Days® wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who attended the first Vintage Market Days® event held over the weekend at the Strawberry Festival Grounds. The family friendly event had live music, a food truck rally and small business vendors from all around the country! Their photo opportunities and inspiring fall decor were enjoyed by 1000s of locals. The next event “Bloom” will be held

I am starting the evening with a glass of rosé and a toast to remember my friend Mary. Her birthday is tomorrow but James’ is today and I remember how annoyed she was that he did not wait a day to be born so they could share a birthday. I remember when she burst in to my hospital room to visit, a ball of energy, looking pretty and fresh. I remember the beautiful flowers she brought me. I remember how she scooped James up and adored him, the way she adored all babies. I remember when she made me smile. I remember when she called Paul an embarrassment for “going to get a Snapple” and not returning for 45 minutes (she never let him forget that one). I remember a friend like no other. I remember you Mary-happy birthday! Miss you❤️

I went blueberry picking and had so much fun! It was a great way to get out and still social distance. Now I am busy coming up with ways to use all the blueberries (confession, i was so happy t be about and about I may have picked a few too many) Anyway the old fashion blueberry lemon cake I made looks so pretty on this vintage Princess House cake stand, but I guess anything would? I enjoyed my piece on a vintage pink pressed glass plate (set of 8), with tea in a vintage Royal Doulton cup (set of 6) the napkins are 100% linen from . Message me for details-I deliver and ship!
