That’s a wrap on today’s Building an Operational Plan workshop! 🎬🗽

Huge thank you to the founders, wholesalers, and manufacturers who joined me and this afternoon.

My favorite takeaway from today’s session? “Your operational plan is a living document.”

It’s not something you write once and forget—it’s the roadmap you use to navigate a CONTINUOUSLY changing world.

Moving from speaking panels or in a deep-dive webinar with NYC entrepreneurs, our mission remains the same: Help brands give more than they take.

Missed this session? I have more workshops coming up soon. 📩 DM me “WORKSHOP” to be the first to know about the next one!

I just jumped off leading my latest workshop with NYC Small Business Services (SBS), and one thing is clear:

The biggest hurdle for wholesalers and manufacturers today isn’t a lack of vision—it’s a lack of systems. ⚙️📉

We spent two hours today moving past the “what” and diving into the “how.” We mapped out:

🔹 Business Model Canvases that actually account for circularity.
🔹 KPIs that measure more than just the bottom line.
🔹 Alternative Processes to build resilience when supply chains break.

Building a radical economy (like we discussed at RECLAIM during the other week!) requires a backend that can support that weight.

If your operations aren’t sustainable, your mission won’t be either.

What if “waste” isn’t a problem to be managed... but a resource we’ve simply failed to unlock? 🤔

This question feels critical this November. 🙏 It’s — a time to be truly grateful for the resources we have and use them wisely. 🌎
It’s also — a time to honor the original stewards of this land, who have always understood the wisdom of circular, regenerative systems.

It’s in this spirit that our founder, Anna Kimelman , is honored to be featured in a recent Spotlight with the co-lab!

A huge thank you to Kristy Hurt, Danielle Franca Swift, and the team for their insightful questions.

Our mission at has always been to make change practical. “Perfect sustainability” is an illusion that leads to paralysis. Real progress comes from the hands-on work of building better systems, not waiting for perfect ones.

We’re here to bridge the gap between ambitious goals and the scalable programs that drive real growth.

A huge shoutout to our partners (the system-builders and impact-amplifiers) who are co-creating this future with us!

Swipe to see my 11-year-old’s question every fashion brand needs to hear. ➡️

In honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Monday, her simple question highlighted what fast fashion makes us forget: the hands, the land, and the true cost of disposability.

Indigenous communities, however, have always practiced circularity and sustainability, respecting resources and creating with intention.

It was incredible to witness this realization for my daughter at .world’s ‘Wear Your Values’ weekend before .

Honoring Indigenous Peoples means recognizing their foundational wisdom, which can heal our relationship with the planet and our clothes. Let’s build a future rooted in that respect.

At , we’re dedicated to helping brands build businesses that the next generation won’t just shop from, but will be proud to support. If you’re ready to build that future, DM to have a chat 💫
