Recorded at AudioCustom Studio under the direction of Cristian Olivares of Lefutray, the album delivers a powerful blend of melodic melancholy, raw heaviness, and unmistakable Latin attitude.

With guitars that echo the drama and sophistication of classic power/heavy metal, the record moves between fire and shadow with intensity and emotion. One of its highlights, “Ecos de Ausencia,” features guest vocalist Gigliola Moglia Figueroa, adding a striking melodic depth before exploding into a high-powered finale.

The band also released their first official video alongside the album, directed by Matías Tapia, capturing the rage and force of the song in a devastating visual strike.

Vatio has released its self-titled debut album, an eight-track collection built on honesty, raw emotion, and the organic energy that defined classic rock recordings.

Recorded live with additional studio sessions at Classic Sounds, the album was produced by Águila and mixed/mastered by legendary engineer Francisco Straub. To capture the electricity and imperfections of a real performance, the band recorded the songs live, blending analog technology with modern production techniques to preserve the emotion of the moment.

Vatio brings together Águila (Tréboles) and Chaz Thomson (Fahrenheit), who previously worked together in progressive rock/metal outfit Misty Eyes, sharing stages with bands such as Stratovarius and The Flower Kings. Years later, they reunite alongside Paloe Escala and Ángel Delgado to deliver a powerful debut filled with urgency, authenticity, and timeless rock spirit.

The band will celebrate the album’s release with a special show at Bar de René on June 26, performing the record in its entirety.

🇨🇱 Chilean post-punk outfit Maldita Existencia has released their self-titled debut full-length album, a raw and deeply personal record shaped by life on the outskirts of Santiago.

Drawing inspiration from bands like Joy Division, Molchat Doma, Human Tetris, Generación Suicida, and Los Prisioneros, the album explores themes of frustration, loss, social discontent, resilience, and survival through a dark and atmospheric post-punk sound.

From the nostalgia of “Plaza de Maipú” and “Silencio” to the social commentary of “El Mundo No Es Tan Feliz” and “Otro Día Más,” the record paints a vivid portrait of everyday struggles, family bonds, and the realities of growing up in working-class neighborhoods in southern Santiago.

Formed in 2021, Maldita Existencia has steadily built a strong reputation within Chile’s gothic and punk underground, while also attracting attention across Latin America’s underground scene, particularly in Mexico.

Chilean band Helegardh has released the official music video for “Lejos de mi hogar,” a powerful track from their 2025 album Hasta el Amanecer.

Inspired by displacement, suffering, and the hope of returning home, the song follows a character shaped by pain and adversity, yet still holding on to the desire to return to a place that feels both physical and emotional.

Directed by Manuel Álvarez and filmed across several locations including MiBar, Estudios Rockaxis, Club 2do Piso in Valparaíso, Ruta 68, and spaces close to the band’s everyday world, the video captures an intimate and authentic side of Helegardh.

This release also marks the closing chapter of Hasta el Amanecer, an album that helped define the band’s blend of hard rock, heavy metal, and symphonic elements, while opening the door to a new creative era.
