Collectors, designers and celebrities from all over the world managed to climb up a flight of steps to check out their American antique quilts and folk art. Since then, Woodard & Greenstein have exhibited at major antiques shows in the U.S. and London, shown at dozens of New England flea markets, written three books on American quilts, given talks on textiles at seminars and educational institutio
ns, and served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Antiques Dealers. Inspired by antique American rugs that have become difficult to find, Woodard & Greenstein, created WOODARD WEAVE® Classic American Woven Rugs in 1981. In a chance meeting with a new manufacturer from India, a partnership began that continues after thirty years. Their collection of hand-made, traditional style rugs are very much at home with both antique and contemporary decors.
