Del Rio Diner stood on Kings Highway in Brooklyn. Open 24 hours, it was a place people went after the clubs, early in the morning, or just because it was part of the routine. If you grew up around here, you remember it. The building is gone now, but the memories are still strong. So I recreated Del Rio Diner in miniature, focusing on the details people remember most and how it felt to see it on the block. I made a small batch of copies for anyone who wants to keep a piece of it. They’re available now on my website while this batch lasts. Send this to someone you used to go there with… and tell me what you remember most about Del Rio.

Mrs. Stahl’s Knishes once stood in Brighton Beach, and if you ever walked by, you remember the smell before you even saw the sign… potato & onion, kasha, cherry cheese. It was simple, but it meant something. Places like this became part of people’s routines, their families, their memories. I wanted to bring that feeling back, so I recreated it in miniature, studying every detail along the way. I’ve made a small batch on my site for anyone who wants to have a duplicate. I’d love to hear… what do you remember most about Mrs. Stahl’s?

John’s Deli on Stillwell Avenue was one of those places you didn’t need to explain… if you knew, you knew. The roast beef, the fresh mozzarella, the gravy, and of course… “Thank you SUBWAY.” A true Brooklyn classic that left its mark on generations. I recreated John’s Deli in miniature to preserve that feeling and bring it back to life. I’ve made a small batch of models available on the website for anyone who wants to hold onto a piece of it. Tell me… do you remember this place?

Another year today… and I’m still here building these pieces, one place at a time, trying to hold onto the parts of Brooklyn that meant something growing up, the spots you passed a hundred times or walked into without thinking twice, now they’re gone or changed, but the feeling stays with you, and that’s what I’ve been chasing with every model I make, so I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s followed along, supported, shared, or brought one of these home, it truly means more than you know, I made a small batch of models available on the website today to celebrate, and if you’ve ever connected with one of these places… now you can own it.

It once stood along the Belt Parkway, just after the Verrazzano Bridge, welcoming generations back into Brooklyn… and if you grew up here, you remember that feeling the second you saw it. You might even remember it from Welcome Back, Kotter. Over time it was stolen, possibly found but replaced with a replica, and now it’s gone—but the memory never left. So I brought it back as a miniature model to preserve that moment, that feeling of coming home. I’ve made a small batch of these, available on the website for anyone who wants to keep a piece of Brooklyn with them. Tell me… do you remember seeing this sign?

Collector Matt started with a few models… and turned them into a full miniature neighborhood filled with places that meant something to him. From Krispy Pizza to L’amour Rock Capital, Hot Bialys, Zig Zag Records, Caesars Bay, Vegas Diner, The Cotillion Terrace and Nathan’s… this is what happens when memories come together in one place. Every detail, every corner, something to recognize. This is exactly what I envisioned… people building their own scenes, their own stories. Models are available on the web site. Which of these places do you remember most?

Lisa from England created her own Easter village using Major Minis models, and this is exactly what I envisioned. Not just individual pieces, but something you can build into a full scene. A collection of places that mean something to you. Every model tells a story, and when you bring them together, it becomes something even more special. If this inspires you to start your own miniature neighborhood, you can explore the models on my website. And if you remember any of these places, I’d love to hear your memories in the comments.

Ceasar’s Bay Bazaar was one of those places you didn’t just shop at, you experienced it. Weekends walking the aisles, finding deals, running into people you knew… it felt like its own little world right here in Brooklyn. I recreated it in miniature to bring that feeling back, piece by piece. I’ve made a small batch of duplicate models available on my website for anyone who wants to keep that memory alive. If you remember Ceasar’s Bay Bazaar, tell me what you used to get there or who you went with.

This is one of those spots people don’t forget. Zig Zag Records stood right here on Avenue U in Brooklyn, and if you were into music, you knew exactly what it was. You’d walk in not knowing what you wanted, and the people behind the counter would help you find something you can rock to. It wasn’t just a shop, it was part of the neighborhood. Today it’s a nail salon, but the memories are still there. I recreated Zig Zag Records in miniature to bring that feeling back and preserve a piece of Brooklyn history. I’ve made another small batch, and copies are available now on the website. If you remember this place… Share with a friend and tell me what you remember about it in the comments!

Nathan’s Famous in Coney Island has been part of summer in Brooklyn for over 100 years. The boardwalk, the ocean air, the line for a hot dog—you never forget that feeling. I recreated Nathan’s in miniature to preserve that moment, something you can actually hold and display. These are available now in small batches, and I’d love to see this one become part of your collection. If you remember Nathan’s, share this with someone who used to go with you and tell me your favorite memory below. If you remember this place… now you can own it.

Krispy Pizza has been everywhere lately, and if you’ve seen it, you already know the lines, the slices, and the energy inside. I stopped in recently and met Freddy, one of the owners, and seeing my miniature model of Krispy Pizza displayed right there in the shop was something special. He loved it, and that meant a lot. Places like this have been part of Brooklyn for years, and what makes them last is how people connect to them. That’s what I try to capture in every model I create. If you’ve been here, you already get it. Tag someone you’d bring with you and share your favorite memory. If you remember this place, now you can own it, in miniature.

Rex Manor was once one of Brooklyn’s most iconic event venues, a place where families gathered for weddings, celebrations, and moments that stayed with you for life. If you grew up around here, you probably have a memory tied to this place. I recreated Rex Manor in miniature to preserve that feeling and the details people remember most. I made a small number of models for anyone who wants to hold onto that piece of Brooklyn history. If you remember Rex Manor, share this with someone who was there with you and tell me your favorite memory in the comments.
