Secret Saturdays An intimate Saturday afternoon music series curated by Howard Fishman I asked a bunch of friends to play and -- to my surprise -- they said yes.

When Pete's Candy Store asked me to curate a Saturday afternoon music series for them to kick off 2015, I honestly didn't know whether it would fly. Audiences have been gathering steam, and it's already started to feel like a scene. The music so far has been jaw-droppingly good. Maybe something about this time of day is bringing out a certain relaxation and adventurousness on the part of the perfo

rmers. So far we've been graced by performances by Scott Barkan, Skronklife, Jane Herships, Vic Thrill, Dana Lyn and Kyle Sanna Duo, Matt Kanelos,Karlie Bruce and Chris Parrello, Kyle Sanna Solo, Ilusha Tsinadze, and Jeff Picker and Hannah Read Trio, Abby Hollander and Liz Tormes. Sets begin at 4pm and end at 7pm. There is no cover, but a $10 donation per act is suggested. Stay tuned to this page for announcements about the upcoming shows!
