A few years ago I was at a local charity shop and saw that they had a hutch full of bras, vintage pantyhose packs and vintage hot roller sets. I thought it was genius and wanted to offer that in my shop, but was unsure how many would actually be interested in "used" intimates so I never moved forward with the idea. Took a chance with this lace bustier from my own personal closet and it sold at the full asking price the same day I listed it. Would you buy vintage or pre-loved intimates?

Lucy is the leader in MOXIE!
Lucy overhears Claudia say in the hallway that if you sit in the front row the teacher will call on you and that's exactly where she sat and boldly challenged everyone in the room to question why they are still reading books written by white men about white men.
Lucy stands up to the guy harassing her, reports his behavior and tells Vivian (who tells her to keep her head down) that she is going to keep her head up - high.
Just as Lucy suggests in the classroom scene, the assigned reading in my high school in the early 2000s was The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. The Great Gatsby was never something I was required to read for school.
