My dad’s birthday was a couple of days ago. I love wrapping presents for him because he enjoys celebrations so much. Even my dog got in on the fun and wrapped a present for the occasion. Celebrating with the ones you love is always such a blast!

Made these cute goodie bags with the help of some awesome colleagues for our school’s district rally participants. The theme was axolotl because our students are so smart to “axolotl” questions in class. I love a good pun! Good luck next week, students!

My sister’s birthday is tomorrow, and here is the one and only present that I have wrapped! The paper and ribbon are new from my stash, but the clip on in the middle of the package is an estate sale find. I wish I could capture how pretty it is in person, but it is nowhere near as beautiful as its recipient. I wish I could lavish my sister with all kinds of gifts, but tomorrow, this will have to do. And she likes spending time together the best anyway (which we have done this weekend). Here’s to the people we love and the presents we wrap for them to show them how much we care.

Wrapping this morning and could not resist opening one of my new papers. To tell you the truth, I try hard to finish off wrapping paper before opening new ones, but in this case, I couldn’t wait any longer. Vintage Santas are my favorite! And Hallmark has a great one this year. I paired this new print with a shiny plaid ribbon, and I think the result is just darling.
