Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife Alicia!
As I look back at life and everything that has happened and I tried to write this... it was hard because to describe your beauty both inside and out, with only words is almost impossible.
You are my best friend and confidante. You stuck by me through thick and thin. You silently believed in me and followed me as I pursued my goals. Not once wavering or doubting my success. Even in my losses and when I fell into a rebellious time in my life. You stayed and gave me the love to help me change for the best. I am still growing and I don't want anyone else by my side for the rest of my life. I love you!
She is one of the best mothers I have ever seen or known, helping to teach and nurture our kids and grandkids with such kindness and affection. I can only hope that they realize what I see and know. That she loves them more than life itself and that no matter what she would sacrifice her personal wants for them. We love you!

A little something to say about school... we have to watch what is being actually taught in schools today other than the basics. Don't get it twisted school does work, it teaches the basics of reading and arithmetic and other very useful skills. But it's up to us, the parents and guardians, of our children to show and teach morals and standards, with conviction, we must walk and live with integrity, standards and morals. We are the examples they follow. Put God first in all that you do and allow kids the opportunity to create projects and hobbies and businesses, etc. for themselves, so that they don't lose that creative way of thinking and problem solving process and skill set. Our purpose as parents is to make the next generation better, not to just focus on ourselves and make the world look at us, but to really invest in our kids. To live in a way that exemplifies love and kindness with discernment, beliefs and morals with the strength to do the right thing, compassion with a backbone, to appreciate life and creation as well as the one who created it all. Be better than the last generation and break any generational curses within your family. Show them a better way.
