We love the Bridgeton Blueberry Festival and look forward to returning as a vendor this year with Tilly and her Traveling Tales. There are so many things to see and do, there is guaranteed to be something for the whole family.
Bridgeton BlueberryFest
On June 13th in North Carolina, the Bridgeton Blueberry Festival takes place as one of the sweetest events of the summer in coastal NC! Held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Vernon Blades Park, near Academy and B Street, this waterfront festival brings a full day of food, music, shopping, and family fun to Bridgeton. Visitors can pick up fresh blueberries, browse more than 70 vendors, and enjoy over 12 food trucks serving festival favorites. Carnival treats, BIC’s Beer Tent, and live music from the Southern Hellcats add to the lively summer setting. Families will find plenty for kids, including waterslide fun, a playground, swings, and New Bern Puppets performing shows every hour. Kids can also help paint a brick for Brindy the Brick Snake. The festival also includes K-9 demos by the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, Possumwood Acres Wild Animal Sanctuary, a dunk tank, cooling stations, and an ATM on-site. With treats, animals, music, vendors, and waterfront views, it’s a fun coastal NC day trip full of sweet blueberry themed food and drink!
