Michelle's roots in fishing were passed down to her from her Father. As his health declined His hunting and fishing days came to become some of their best memories. Long days and longer nights they shared her passion for music. Together they wrote songs, sang, and had serious discussions about pursuing her life long goals and dreams. They supported, encouraged and stood behind her every step of the journey. Michelle's Dad passed away on June 27, 2019. Only two weeks before her Mother, Sister, and Niece would travel to Atlanta, GA for the ISSA (International Singer/Songwriter) Awards.
Michelle took home the award for Single of the Year for "Military Mom". A song she wrote only days before her Son deployed. The song went on to break Independent Artist records around the world, garnering over 11 million streams in it's first year of release.
Michelle dedicated the award to the memory of her Father, Her Mother, and Her producer who died from cancer two weeks after Her Father.
Today Michelle has made her home in Nashville, Tennessee with her furbaby Monty and Her Father's beloved pet Peewee Bowser. She continues to do what she was born to do. Write, sing, and inspire others.
Even though Her Father no longer holds that fishing rod, or her hand, he will hold her heart forever.
He is, was, and always will be, Her Anchor Through the Storm.
Here is Michelle's "Fishin' Song". Good luck with all of your fishing adventures. They turn precious moments, into priceless memories.
