One year ago today I released the short film about my first runway show. This is still my favorite thing I have ever accomplished. I designed a collection in a children’s video game, made it in real life, gained so many new friends, and raised money for other DV survivors. I could not have put on this show without the insane amount of love and help I got from everyone involved. They saw my vision and helped me bring it to life. In 2020 I thought my life was over. I thought I couldn’t come back from what happened to me. But not even 5 years later I achieved something I always wanted to while getting to help others.
