Ads are everywhere for ceremonial chocolate. Beccari has the 1700 year old recipe on our wall, for everyone to see, thanks to Priscilla Colón . She is a good friend who preserves and teaches Indigenous languages, such as Taino. She recently went to Palenque, Mexico for work, saw and photographed the original Mayan mural of a woman preparing Mayan ceremonial cacao. She graciously allowed me to use her photo in our shop. Saturday is the unveiling or the mural and celebration of friendship.

We are thankful for many things. Today, we're especially thankful to Barbara Griffey and the Hanna Dustin Quilting Guild for a Chocolate Bar quilt that took 3rd place in a competition.
I'm glad our chocolate inspired an artistic moment.
