Thinking about my 2 nephews and feeling for all those who see the brilliance in our black boys & young men! .
I hold them in my heart ❤️! I’ve been this way since I taught kindergarten/1st grade in Mt. Vernon, NY. So many names come to mind. .
😢While I was writing this post my sister was posting about how my 12 year old nephew told her that he did not want to drive with his dad from TX to NY to because he didn’t want his dad to get pulled over by the police and killed (see IG story)😔
Never underestimate your influence. It is powerful💥! Let’s keep speaking life into our sons and praying for our children!
