Pickle Town Crafts I once got a birthday card from my granddaughter that pointed out that I am not the typical grandma who "bakes cookies". Far from it.

I enjoy making things from scratch, just not food. For as long as I can remember, I have been putting pen (or crayon) to paper, cutting out fabric, smearing paints, melting wax, playing with lye making homemade soap, twisting and pounding wire...and the list goes on. After years of creating and collecting (I enjoy shopping, too!), my home and tiny shop are overflowing with "Stuff". Thus, I created

this page in the hopes of selling some of my "Stuff". I will attempt to "Go Live" at least once a week in the near future (it's now June 16, 2024). I also have just opened a "new" Etsy shop: pickletowncrafts.etsy.com. I don't expect to make much money, but I do expect to have loads of fun, interact with lots of good people, and make room in my home so I can continue to collect and create more "Stuff".

I have just cut these brand-new goat milk soaps! They will cure approximately a month and then they will be available at my new booth in downtown Wallace, NC at The Rustic Chicken. They are made of skin-loving ingredients such as goat milk, of course, but also Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter! If you can't wait for these lovely bars to cure, I have 3 other goat milk soaps available now and 4 more will be available in less than a week. Stop in and ask for booth 19 for soap, candle melts, and lots of other goodies!
